Experience:
Prior to his admission to the Florida Bar, Mr. Fernandez was employed with the
Tampa Tribune and served in the United State Army National Guard. Upon beginning
his legal practice, Mr. Fernandez has exclusively represented individuals in
personal injury related cases. During the course of his career, Mr. Fernandez
has represented well over 7,000 individuals in cases involving various types of
alleged negligence. Mr. Fernandez has represented individuals in jury trials
throughout the Tampa Bay area and has tried over 100 social security disability
administrative trials.
In 1987, Mr. Fernandez opened his present practice in Tampa, Florida, with only
himself and two legal assistants. Since that time, the firm of Kinney, Fernandez
and Boire, P.A. has grown to a total of five lawyers and a staff of nine
assistants, with additional offices in Plant City, Florida, St Pete, Florida and
Palm Harbor, Florida.
Mr. Fernandez is experienced in the following areas of law: personal injury,
wrongful death, products liability, premises liability, insurance coverage,
social security disability, all general liability claims, mediation,
arbitrations and civil trial practice.
