The Make- A-Wish Foundation is hosting the 3rd Annual Wishmaker's Ball Presented by Kinney, Fernandez & Boire, P.A.

Tampa, FL (January 30, 2012 ) - In celebration of more than 20 years of WishR granting in Tampa Bay, the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & Northern Florida, Suncoast Region, will host its 3rd Annual Wishmaker's Ball on Saturday, March 24th, at the Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina. For the second consecutive year, The Law Offices of Kinney, Fernandez & Boire, P.A.are the presenting sponsor. Also joining the event this year is Syniverse Technologies as a Platinum Wishmaker Sponsor.

Wishmaker's Ball guests and sponsors will help grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions this year by exceeding our goal of $100,000. Individual tickets are $150. Tables of 10 are $1,500. The evening will include a luxurious sit-down dinner, an exclusive VIP table drawing, silent and live auctions, entertainment, and special appearances by Wish Children.

"Since 1986, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted more than 1,700 wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses in the Tampa Bay community,"said Marcus Fernandez of Kinney, Fernandez, and Boire, P.A. "We are thrilled to continue our support of the foundation's mission to bring hope, strength and joy to local children. Our goal is to raise funds to grant 14 wishes." Marcus Fernandez and his wife Lauren are event chairs.

The Make-A-Wish FoundationR grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Born in 1980 when a group of caring individuals helped a young boy fulfill his dream of becoming a police officer, the Foundation is now the largest wish-granting charity in the world, with 65 chapters in the U.S. and its territories. With the help of generous donors and nearly 25,000 volunteers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation grants more than 12,600 wishes a year and has granted more than 191,000 wishes in the U.S. since inception.

The Central and Northern Florida chapter of the Make-A-Wish FoundationR includes 54 counties serving the upper half of the state. It includes the Suncoast region in Tampa Bay, consisting of Hernando, Pasco, Polk, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.
